Large amphitheatre overhanging the Mediterranean, the Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard stretches from Perpignan (Spain) beyond Nîmes.
Exceptional soil where vines grow in the best of conditions, it owes its beginning to the Greeks who planted vines six centuries B.C. Oldest & biggest domaine in the world (300 000 ha+), the vineyard owes its richness due to a large diversity of soil from schist and rolled stones to calcareous clay.
Strong of its 32 appellations and of the hard work of reconstruction during the years 80-90, the Languedoc-Roussillon vineyard is progressing yearly thanks to a more restrictive & controled production.
